This web-radio is made from an Arduino, an hacked TP-Link WR703N router and some interface parts. A TP-Link WR703N router was flashed with OpenWRT, extended by an USB thumdrive and upgraded with an USB soundcard. Then I installed a webserver and the mpd music server on the router.
The RadioduinoWRT is a self-designed and implemented webradio. It’s a device that enables you to play your favorite internet radio stations. To give you a brief overview of how the finished product looks like and works, see this video after the break.
The Arduino communicates over the ethernet port of the TL-WR703N. The router again communicates by his wifi interface with the internet and my local network.
